Special Screening: Being MortalCategory : General
MILFORD-On Thursday, November 15 there will be a special screening of the PBS Special, Being Mortal from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Cornerstone at Milford, 11 Birch St.
The PBS Special based on the best-selling book, Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande, MD. The book addresses hospice care and the current state of care in regard to age-related frailty, serious illness and impending death.

Primarily Potters Annual Show and SaleCategory : General
HOPKINTON- Nine ceramic artists from seven local towns return to the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA), 98 Hayden Rowe St., this November for the Primarily Potters Show and Sale. The public is invited to view the show and to purchase handcrafted gifts and ceramic wares from the artists for themselves or as unique gifts for friends and family. Items for sale will include mugs, platters, vases and other decorative items. A raffle benefitting the Hopkinton High School Art Department and the HCA will be held during the show and will feature three baskets of the artists work (valued at $75 to $175).
