Alzheimer’s/Dementia Friendly Worship ServiceCategory : General
MILFORD-The First Congregational Church in Milford invites those with Alzheimer’s/dementia and their caregivers to worship at a special Sunday service on April 7 and May 19 at noon. Come sing familiar hymns, hear favorite scripture passages, and say beloved prayers during a 20-minute worship service. Everyone is invited to enjoy fellowship, coffee, tea and light refreshments following the service. The church located

Friends of Mendon Elders Book SaleCategory : General
MENDON- The Friends of Mendon Elders annual book sale will be Friday, April 5 from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again on Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mendon Senior Center, 62 Providence
St. Besides a large assortment of fiction, nonfiction, science fiction, and children’s books, puzzles, games, CDs, DVDs,
and other previous viewed videos will also be offered. All
sold reasonable prices. Books are sorted and organized by author or subject to make shopping easier for buyers to find favorite writers and categories. Proceeds support the Friends of Mendon Elders.

Drive, which will take place at all three Hockomock Area YMCA branches and at locations within the communities through April 7. MENDON-The Mendon Festival Committee, Mendon Parks Department and Custom Home Realty will hold an Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clough School, North Ave, Mendon. MILFORD–Thanks To Yanks Spring into Spring Dance and silent auction which will be Saturday, April 13 from 7 to 11 p.m. at DoubleTree by Hilton, Beaver St., Milford. The event will include
a dance with a DJ, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Net proceeds will be used to provide direct aid, and support to meet emergency, unmet and basic needs support activities for active duty military, veterans and their families.
